Tanvi, who hated sports and was anything but a fitness freak. At least that’s what I thought! She is a complete foodie and has a sweet tooth! And then I got to know that she is a zumba and Sh’bam instructor! For people who are as naïve as me, Zumba is a dance fitness program created by a Columbian dancer, Beto Perez, during 1990’s incorporating Latin rhythms. While Sh’bam (pronounced as Shibam) is patented dance fitness program by Les Mills and is structured on contemporary tracks. This concept fascinated me; it is creativity at its best! You can dance at the gym and it will be counted as a workout! Simply wow! This is like bringing together the best of both worlds! Tanvi’s zumba and Sh’bam classes are full of jizz and entertainment. You can have fun while getting fit! Her choreography includes some good English dance tracks along with a few surprise elements in the form of Punjabi hip hop! She performs at Raahgiri and holds classes in Delhi (Hauz khas), Gurgaon and Noida alongside her free lancing assignments.

Here’s a sneak peek to some of my favorites!
Shubhani Talwar, an untrained artist and a fashion designer by profession worked in various export houses and firms in different capacities but always thought about how she could fully utilize her inborn love for art. She with her husband were into garment export business and later expanded into manufacturing garments. Her hobby was lost in the agile life of a working mother.
Sanya Kohli, a happy-go-lucky cake designer based out of Delhi, is a full time mom and makes yummy cakes, muffins & chocolates.
I marvel at these working moms, and in this case, the biggest problem being keeping the kid away from these goodies! If I imagine my mom making these fabulous cakes, I would not let her give it away to someone else!
Designer cakes are the in thing now, but I always feel that there is more focus on the presentation, the cake inside is nothing much. However, when I tasted Sanya’s cakes and muffins, I was reminded of the old times, when the proof of the pudding lay in its taste!
The cakes and muffins are soft and moist and I personally loved the red velvet, chocolate and the vanilla flavors. I still can’t decide the best one to pick-they’re all yum!
